KUALA LUMPUR, March 17 (Bernama) -- Two political secretaries took their oaths of secrecy before Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at his office in Parliament House, here Monday.

Chumang Nyambong was appointed Political Secretary to the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Joseph Entulu Belaun and Mohd Rafi Alli Hassan was appointed Political Secretary to the Minister of Federal Territories Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.

Chumang previously served as a District Officer in the Julau District Office, Sarikei, Sarawak while Mohd Rafi was the Labuan Umno Youth Head.

Both of the newly-appointed political secretaries, when approached by Bernama, said they were determined to carry out their task and responsibilities in the best manner possible.

"This appointment is a trust and responsibility that I will uphold and discharge with full commitment and diligence," said Chumang.

The swearing in was also witnessed by the Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa.
